Civil and special works
Civil engineering is a complex of works connected with construction of buildings and facilities, which consists of the following stages:
- Preparatory works - waste removal from the territory, dismantling of old construction facilities on the site, if necessary.
- Earth works - works with soil, piling.
- Mason's works - erection of masonry structures (walls, supports, poles, copes, etc.) of work stone and blocks.
- Concrete and reinforced concrete works - concrete mixing, its transportation and packing in forms; embedment of areas and joints between precast units.
- Erection of structures.
- Roofwork, joinery and carpenter's works.
- Finishing works - works inside the premise: overcoating, facing work, painting, etc.
Special works mainly include works, type whereof is determined by facility designation. For example, works on installation of internal engineering and heating systems, electric works on installation of lighting, power and other electrical equipment, application of different-purpose coating on the structures, etc.
