Power cables with copper conductors insulated by PVC and with PVC sheath with low flammability.
Construction:
1. Current-carrying conductor is made of copper, solid or stranded conductor, round- or sector-shaped, of class 1 or 2 as per GOST 22483.
2. Insulation is made of PVC compound. Insulated conductors of multi-conductor cables have distinctive color. Insulation of neutral conductors is performed in blue color. Insulation of grounding conductors is performed in two colors (green and yellow).
3. Twist - insulated conductors of two-, three-, four- and five conductor cables are twisted; two conductor cables have uniform conductors; three-, four- and five conductor cables have all uniform conductors or one conductor of lesser section (grounding or neutral conductor).
4. Inner sheath is made of PVC compound and unvulcanized rubber compound, in NYM-0,S07VV-R cables - flame-resistant unvulcanized rubber compound with layer thickness of at least 0.1 mm, or of flame-resistant PVC compound.
5. Outer sheath is made of PVC compound, in NYM-0,S07VV-R cables - flame resistant PVC compound.
Application:
– For power transmission and distribution in fixed plants for rated alternating voltage of 660 V and 1000 V with frequency of 50 Hz.
– For installation in dry and damp production spaces, on special cable racks, in blocks and for outdoor installation. For power supply to electric plants which need cable glands at bushing.
NYM type cables are flame-retardant if single; NYM-0,S07VV-R type cables are flame-retardant if bunched.
