Power cables with copper conductors insulated by PVC and with PVC sheath with low flammability.
Construction:
1. Current-carrying conductor is made of copper, stranded conductor, round- or sector-shaped, of class 2 as per GOST 22483.
2. Insulation is made of polyvinylchloride compound (PVC). Insulated cable conductors of have distinctive color.
3. Twist - insulated cable conductors are twisted.
4. Inner sheath is moulded out with filling of gaps between conductors with unvulcanized rubber compound, in NYM-0,S07VV-R cables - with flame resistant unvulcanized rubber compound.
5. Metal screen consists of two copper tapes or copper foil.
6. Outer sheath is made of PVC compound, in NYM-0,S07VV-R cables - flame resistant PVC compound.
Application
– For power transmission and distribution in fixed plants for rated alternating voltage of 3 kV with frequency of 50 Hz.
– For installation in dry and damp production spaces, on special cable racks, in blocks and for outdoor installation.
NYM type cables are flame-retardant if single. NYM-0,S07VV-R type cables are flame-retardant if bunched.
