Power cables with aluminum conductors, XLPE-insulated, armored, PE-jacketed.
Construction:
1. Current-carrying conductor is made of copper or aluminum, solid or stranded conductor, round- or sector-shaped, of class 1 or 2 as per GOST 22483.
2. Insulation is made of silane cross-linked polyethylene. Insulated conductors of multi-conductor cables have distinctive color. Insulation of neutral conductors is performed in blue color. Insulation of grounding conductors is performed in two colors (green and yellow).
3. Twist - insulated cable conductors are twisted.
4. Inner sheath is moulded out with filling of gaps between conductors with unvulcanized rubber compound.
5. Armor is made of two steel tapes overlaid in such a way that the top tape covers gaps between lays of the bottom tape. For single core cables armor is made of aluminum alloy tapes.
6. Jacket is made of polyethylene.
Application:
– For power transmission and distribution in fixed plants for rated alternating voltage of 660 V and 1000 V with frequency of 50 Hz.
– For installation in ground (trenches) irrespective of soil and soil waters corrosiveness, except for heaving and collapsible soil, and for installation in soil with high humidity and in water.
