CRP-0.4 haS the following advantages:

-modular design concept allows to increase gradually the rated capacity of the plant;

-accurate cos value adjustment (minimum level is 25 reactive kVA);

-use of purpose-designed contactors with advance making contacts and current-limiting resistors expanding the life of contactors and capacitors;

-use of capacitors capable to self-healing after insulation layer breakdown;

-use of purpose-designed controllers for automatic cos value adjustment;

-light weight and small size.  

By using PFC it is possible to:

-maintain power factor value required for consumer in automatic mode within the limits of 0,8-1 by connection/disconnection of capacitor bank stages;

-connect and disconnect capacitor bank stages manually;

-ensure current indication in capacitor bank circuit as well as emergency and other types of indication provided in automatic adjuster;

-monitor power factor value cos;

-upgrade power quality directly in the enterprise's networks;

-reduce total power costs;

-decrease load on distribution mains elements, extend their life.

Operating conditions

Climatic version - NF4 as per GOST 15150-69.

PFC-0.4 are designed for operation in enclosed production spaces at normal operating conditions in moderate and cold climate areas:

- ambient temperature is from 10°С below zero up to 55°С above zero;

-altitude above sea level is maximum 1000 m;

-relative air humidity is 50% at the temperature of 40°С above zero;

-environment is not explosive, does not contain current-conducting dust, aggressive gases and fumes in concentrations breaking the materials and insulation.
