Non-adjustable CRP PFC-6(10) type with 6 kV and 10 kV, frequency 50 Hz, capacity of 450 to 3150 reactive kVA are designed for increase of power factor value (cos) in electrical distribution three-phase systems of industrial enterprises and other facilities. 

CRP-6(10) provideS:

-overcurrent rating protection;

-protection against access to current-carrying conductive parts;

-indication of capacitor bank current;

-alarm at protection operation. 

CRP-6(10) units have the following peculiarities:

-three-phase power capacitors CPEFS manufactured by ZEZ SILKO, designed for reactive power compensation. Capacitor electrodes are made of aluminium foil. Polypropylene film saturated with special liquid acts as dielectric. Capacitors have built-in discharge resistors;

-to enhance reliability and protect against emergency conditions, additional high-voltage fuses are installed in capacitor bank cells (according to par.5.6.20 EIC);

-modular design concept allows to increase gradually the plant capacity;

-CRP-6(10) are self-contained and are not comprised in SG-6(10). CRP-6(10) are connected to SG-6(10) by cable through cell with power circuit breaker and protection relay, which in its turn considerably increases operation reliability;

-light weight and small size. 

By using CRP-6(10) it is possible to reduce energy losses and improve electric plant efficiency, upgrading energy quality directly in the enterprise’s networks.

OPERATING CONDITIONS  

CRP-6(10) are designed for operation in enclosed production spaces at normal operating conditions in moderate and cold climate areas: 

CRP-6(10) can be operated under the following conditions:

-ambient temperature is from 25°С below zero up to 40°С above zero;

-relative air humidity is 80% at the temperature of 15°С above zero;

- altitude above sea level is maximum 1000 m;

-environment is not explosive, does not contain current-conducting dust, aggressive gases and fumes in concentrations breaking the materials and insulation.·          

When installing CRP-6(10) in premises with temperature lower than 25°С below zero, there must be provided space heating.

CRP-6(10) are made in N-version for 3.1 placement category, for I and II type atmosphere as per GOST 15150.
