Power cables for stationary laying for 110-330 kV

 1. Current-carrying conductor is aluminum or copper, stranded, round-shaped, compacted conductor, corresponds to class 2 as per GOST 22483-77. 

2. Conductor screen is applied as an extrusion of electrically conductive peroxide cross-linked polyethylene composition. 

3. Insulation made of peroxide cross-linked polyethylene. 

4. Insulation screen is applied as an extrusion of electrically conductive peroxide cross-linked polyethylene composition. 

5. Separating layer:

Tape made of semiconducting cloth for cables without “г” index.
Tape made of semiconducting water-blocking cloth for cables with “г” index. 

6. Screen made of copper wires connected by means of copper tape:

With section of 95 mm2 for cables with conductor section of 185-240mm2,
With section of 120 mm2 for cables with conductor section of 300-500mm2,
With section of 185 mm2 for cables with conductor section of 800-2500mm2

Note: Screen section is selected depending on short-circuit currents which shall be calculated according to field cable installation conditions. Screen section may be increased on order-basis.
