 The visit took place within the official trip of the management of the Russian Energy Agency (REA) to Kazan. The government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Energy Agency signed a cooperation agreement which contemplates cooperation in the sphere of improvement of energy efficiency and innovative activities in RT. Next, REA representatives were invited to visit the production site of INVENT group – the largest production engineering holding in Tatarstan which involves modern production companies producing cable, electric and heat engineering products for the power industry, and a construction engineering division.

The delegation, which included Director-general of FGU “Russian Energy Agency”, Deputy Director-general of FGU “Russian Energy Agency” Marina Fairushina, Deputy Minister of Energy of RT Farid Tuktarov and other officials, was met by the General director of INVENT group Elbek Safayev. He showed the production capabilities of Technopolis INVENT to the guests and demonstrated one of the largest power cable production plants in Russia – TatCable plant.

 Elbek Safayev noted that Tatcable produces the whole range of power cable and is the only Russian producer of 330kV HV cable which has recently been certified at the worldwide acknowledged Dutch laboratory KEMA (is a part of German DEKRA).
The guests noticed the modern technologies and high level of the production organization in Technopolis INVENT and expressed their hopes that exactly such companies will form the power engineering industry in the Republic and in Russia in general.
