Technical directors of the operating companies of IDGC Holding JSC have visited INVENT Technopolis
The visit of the Technopolis was held as a part of All-Russian industry briefing of technical managers of the operating companies of IDGC Holding JSC taking place in Kazan on August 23-26 under the auspices of Grid Company OJSC. Delegation consisted of technical directors of IDGC Holding from Kaliningrad to Far East. Delegation was headed by Boris Mekhanoshin - deputy Director General - Technical Director of IDGC Holding JSC.
Visitors were welcomed by Managing director of INVENT LLC - Eldar Orudzhov who told about holding structure, production capabilities of the group and its development prospects. Then the guests were invited to production sites of the technopolis. By tradition, tour of "INVENT-Electro" started from thin plate metal work shop where 
products of metal - "frames" of future cells and different switchboard equipment - are produced. In the electrical equipment assembly shop (switchgear of unilateral maintenance, low-voltage package module, cubicle switchboard) including energy-saving equipment (reactive power compensator, variable frequency drive) the guests were introduced to the whole engineering process of boxes and cells manufacturing, and in MITSC shop - to the final stage of transformer substation "casting" process.
At the modern TATKABEL plant the delegation learned every stage of cabling and wiring products manufacturing technique: starting from wire-drawing to the process of high-tension cable extruding. Product line of the plant includes both usual power supply cable and unique for the Russian market cable with cross-linked polyethylene insulation 
rated for 110-330kv.
For reference: Participants to the meeting discuss new directions of technical development of network infrastructure, special features of maintenance and repair of modern electrical equipment, preparation to autumn and winter season 2011-2012, urgent problems of manufacturing activity of distribution mains companies. Damir Safiullin - Director General of Grid Company OJSC, Guzel Sadrieva - the Head of Energy Management of the Ministry of Energy for the Republic of Tatarstan, Almaz Nasybullin - Deputy Chief of the Volga Region Administration of Rostekhnadzor of the Russian Federation, representatives of the leading Russian enterprises - manufacturers of electricity supply network equipment take part in the meeting.
