Yesterday evening Tatcable plant (which is the part of INVENT group) visited the Vice-premier of Russian Federation, the Chairman of board of directors of NTER RAO UES OJSC, Igor Sechin, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnihanov, the Deputy ministers of energy of RF, Andrey Shishkin and Sergey Kudryashov, the chairman of board of “Rusgidro”, JSC, Evgeniy Dod and the Minister of Energy and natural resources of the Republic of  Turkey, Taner Yildiz.

It will be recalled that the Vice Premier of RF and the Minister of Energy of Turkey visited Kazan city within the bounds of the joint intergovernmental Russian-Turkish commission of the trade and economic cooperation.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilshat Fardiev, General director of INVENT group, Elbek Safaev, director of Tatcable plant, Oleg Lebedev and top-managers of the energy companies of RT welcomed the VIP guests.

First of all the delegation were acquainted with the unique laboratory, where the final stage of the factory testing of the 1^st in Russia cable for 330 kV was carried out. It should be noted that earlier the cable for 330 kV was exclusively imported in the territory of Russia. But now Tatcable plant is able to provide the domestic consumers with this high-tech cable and to play an important role in the import substitution program. By the way, Tatcable is also the only producer in Russia of cable for 220 kV of large sections.

During the excursion at the plant Igor Sechin, Rustam Minnihanov and Taner Yildis were shown all the stages of the production of the full range of energy cable: for 110-330 kV and 6-35 kV, cables for stationary laying, self-supported insulated wires. 

Vice-premier of RF noted the high manufacturability of the production and also said that the cables should be in demand of the Federal Grid Company. At the end of the visit the guests left their signatures on the section of cable for 330 kV with the wishes of good luck.
