Tatcable plant for the first time took part in the international exhibition of cable and wire production Cabex, which was held in the exhibition center “Sokolniki” from 15 to 18^th of March.

In the commencement meeting took part the general director of “All-Russia research institute of cable production”, JSC, Gennady Meshanov, the president of “Electrocable” association, Izyaslav Peshkov and others.

After the solemn ceremony the official persons saw the expositions of the leading Russian and foreign cable enterprises. At the exposition of Tatcable plant (which is the part of INVENT group) the guests were demonstrated the specimen of cable for 330 kV with section of 2000 square mm. of plant’s own production. This product is unique not only because it is the first cable for 330 kV which has been manufactured in Russia (currently this cable is imported in the territory of RF), but also because of its construction (it provides the reliability of operation in the grids of alternating current with voltage of 330 kV, or simply speaking – in the underground communications). The construction of this cable has water-blocking elements both along the strand and the screen, and also a metallic barrier which prevents from penetrating and spreading of water inside the insulation and along the cable itself.

Besides the specialists of Tatcable plant have made the aluminium strand of “Milliken” type with the section of 2500 square mm. (it is going to be a cable for 220 kV in the future). Currently this semi-finished product is at the stage of insulation attaching and presently will be sent to the certification typical and resource tests in “Research institute of transmission of electric power by the constant current of high voltage”, JSC (Saint Petersburg)

During the exhibition the general director of Inter-district Grid Company, Nikolay Shvets visited Tatcable exposition. He paid special attention to the plant, mentioned its achievements and wished good luck.

As a result of the exhibition the youngest company in the cable and wire industry “Tatcable” was awarded with the diploma of the participant “For successful debut”.
